Frank Holmes

Frank Holmes, 66, of Brainerd, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Christian Fellowship in Brainerd with Pastor George Cahoon officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services.

Frank was born June 11, 1947, in Brainerd, the son of Frank and Daisy (Doust) Holmes. He was united in marriage to Caroline Borg and they later divorced. He was self-employed as a roofing and painting contractor. He worked in the Twin Cities Metro area before retiring to the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Frank is survived by his children, Tammy (Douglas) Mulroy, of Pillager, Frank Holmes, of Brainerd, Lynda Hertel, of Brainerd, and Dawn (Brian Johnson) Billman, of Lincoln; brother, Robert Storry; sister, Rhonda Cahoon; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Daisy; stepfather, Robert Storry; granddaughter, Nicole; and sisters Mary Hinch and Sue Mrozek.
