Frances Bourassa

Frances Mary Bourassa, 85, and life-long resident of Brainerd passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Funeral Services will take place at 12 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. A visitation will take place one hour prior to services.
Frances was born on September 24, 1936, to Clarence and Edna (Rice) Pickar in Brainerd, MN. She was united in marriage to James Bourassa in 1954. She was an amazing mother, a great cook, and an accomplished needlewoman. She loved the outdoors and had beautiful gardens. Frances will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Bourassa; her son Jim; and her siblings Charles, Roger, Jim, and Arlene.
Frances is survived by her children Diane DeVere, Sandra (Steve) Sandberg, Gary (Cathy) Bourassa, Dan (Dianne) Bourassa, Kathy (Joe) Gleason, Dale (Lori) Bourassa, and Ben Bourassa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
