Florian Komro

Florian Charles Komro, 88, of Pillager, died at his daughter's home in Motley on October 2, 2012. Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, October 5, 2012 from 10 AM - 12 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.

Florian was born November 25, 1923, in Durand, WI, the son of Charles and Ella Komro. A recipient of the Purple Heart, Florian served in the US Army for 2 years.

Florian will be missed by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Timothy Charles (Kimberly) Komro, of Ramsey and Kimberly (Rick) Luse, of Motley; sisters, Lilian and Gladys; brother, Irvin; grandchildren, Robert, Emily and Derek; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Johnothan, McKinzie, and Donavan. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and a brother.
