Florence Palm

Florence E. Palm, 80, of Superior, WI passed away March 5th 2016 at Riverside Assisted Living in Pillager MN.
Florence was born on December 20, 1935 in Superior WI to George and Myrtle (Orner) Dopp. She graduated from East High School and the University of WI Madison. Florence married Sidney Palm on April 23, 1962 at Concordia Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, a substitute teacher and volunteer in Superior. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, puzzles and playing cards on the computer. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church; serving on the library board, church council, financial secretary, Sunday school superintendent, circle member, prayer shawl knitter and volunteer for what was needed. She was a 4-H leader for many years, a garden club member, East High class reunion committee member, Murphy Oil retiree luncheon member, worked at election poles and volunteered to help with events at the Bong Memorial Center. She moved to Pillager MN in September 2015.
Florence is survived by her children, Heidi (Perry) Erickson of Pillager, MN and Arla (Dale Spencer) Williams of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Jenna (Scott) Malikowski Minneapolis, MN, Zachary Williams Tucson, AZ , Emily Erickson Dayton, MN, and April Erickson Superior, WI; two great grandchildren, Oakley and Hazel Malikowski; and sister, Goldie (Frank) Pavelec. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Myrtle Dopp and husband Sidney Palm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter MN.
A memorial service for Florence will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1708 John Avenue Superior WI on March 26, 2016. Visitation will be in the sanctuary from 12:30 to 1:30, service at 2:00 pm.
Florence will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Superior at a later date.
