Fayne Hall

Fayne Lucille Hall, 90, of Brainerd died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village-Bethany in Brainerd, MN. Funeral Services for Fayne will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd with Rev. Dr. Ed Morgan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be Oakland Cemetery at a later date.

Fayne was born on December 16, 1921 in Tamarac, MN to the late Fred and Cecelia Mead. She graduated from McGregor High School. Fayne was united into marriage to Lyle Tornow on May 3, 1938 in Tamarac, MN. They moved to Brainerd where she worked for Brainerd State Hospital for seventeen years. Following the death of Lyle, she later married Lyle Hall on June 17, 1995 at Faith Lutheran Church in Embaras, MN. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. Fayne also loved to knit and to crochet.

She will be sadly missed by her husband,Lyle; daughter, Kathleen (LeRoy) Hamberg of Motley, MN; sons, John (Lorraine) Tornow of Hurst, Texas, Richard (Lucy) Tornow of Staples, MN, and Charles (Betty Klingaman) Tornow of Staples, MN; step-daughter, Brenda (Larry) Hudson; twenty grandchildren; thirty nine great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Fayne was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lyle Tornow; son, Clifford; seven brothers; and one sister.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
