Faye Schroenghamer

Faye E. Schroenghamer, 84, of Stacy, MN, died at her home Sunday, April 21, 2013. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 26, 2013 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Pinewood Cemetery.

Faye was born April 7, 1929, in St. Paul, the daughter of Henry and Ruth (Raddatz) Holst. Following high school, she continued her education and became a LPN. She also enjoyed her work in hospitality at the Marriot Hotel in Peninsylvania. In 1952, Faye married George Schroenghamer. The couple retired to the Crosslake Area where Faye was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She liked dancing, crocheting, collecting bells, canning and entertaining her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her children, Brad (Mary) Schroenghamer, of Jemez Springs, NM, Lynn Laut, of Newtown Square, PA, Lori (Walter) Turati, of Shutsbury, MA, Greg Schroenghamer, of Baxter, LuAnn (Charles) Damann, of Stacy, and Jeffrey Shroenghamer, of Baxter; sister, Helen Roberton, of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; and sister, Dorothy.
