Fay King

Fay Elaine King, 99, of Brainerd died on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Good Samaritan Society-Birchwood Home in Brainerd, MN. Private Family Services.

Fay was born on November 03, 1912 in Brainerd, MN to Hugo and Josephine (Lawson) Rosina. She married Ellis King in Aitkin, MN. Fay worked as an executive secretary at the Brainerd Paper Mill. Ellis and Fay bought and operated King's Sporting Goods.
She also was a member of Eastern Star and Elks and Moose Auxiliary. Fay was recognized in a feature article in the Brainerd Daily Dispatch for her extensive and unique button collection.

Fay will be sadly missed by daughter, Carole (Jon) Holcombe of Minnetonka, MN; granddaughter, Julie Krech; great-granddaughters, Heather and Sydney Krech of Eagan, MN; and close friend and neighbor, Diane Sell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Josephine Rosina; husband, Ellis; and brother, Douglas Rosina. The family of Fay would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Birchwood Assisted Living and to Hospice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
