Faith Dabill

Faith (Brant) Dabill, age 97, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Essentia-St. Joseph's Medical Center, Brainerd, MN. She was born in Poplar, MN to Delbert and Jennie Brant on December 23, 1916. Faith moved with her parents to Pine River in 1922, where she lived most of her life. Faith married Gaylord Dabill on February 18, 1936. They spent thirteen years in Ely, MN. She was a Red Cross Gray Lady volunteer for several years, working with senior citizens at Whispering Pines Nursing Home and also at the Kitchigami Library. Faith was a member of the Good Will Club and Ladies Circle at Riverview Church. She loved her family, gardening, making quilts, embroidery and reading.

Faith is survived by five children: Joan Horn of Fargo, ND, Bill (Rae) Dabill of Backus, MN, Phil (Linda) Dabill of Naples, FL and Pine River, MN, Bob (Char) Dabill of Baxter, MN and Mike (Lu) Dabill of Kansas City, KS; 19 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; her sister, Carol Holden of Brainerd, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord in 2004 and daughter, Helen, in 2010.

Services will be 2 PM, Saturday, January 18, at Riverview Church, Pine River. Burial will be in Mildred Cemetery, rural Backus. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
