Everett Eugene Klucas, 90, was born in Barry MN on March 30th, 1922. He died peacefully on Monday evening, August 13, 2012.
Everett graduated from Chokio High School in MN and the University of Washington in Seattle. Being a WWII Vet, he was a Past Commander and a very active member of the American Legion, Billy Brown Post in Nisswa. While living in Golden Valley, he was a Past Grand Knight and in the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He owned and operated Spiral Manufacturing with his brother, Kenneth. He played the clarinet and he loved to dance with his life long dance partner and wife, Arlene. He loved his home on Lower Cullen Lake, fishing and hunting when he had the time. He loved to garden and his tomato and cucumber plants were known to take over the deck. He loved his family and many many friends and neighbors.
Preceded in death by his parents Spencer and Pearl (nee: Betts) Klucas from Chokio, MN.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Arlene (nee: Boelter); his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy; his children: Kathy (Terry), Dick (Jonna), Kevin (Karen Nichols), Patti, and Steve (Kim). Grandchildren: Lisa (Doug) Beimert, Sheila (Pat) Springer, Leah Grimm, Michelle (Bernie) Reisberg, Alanna (Josh) Leisen, Lacey (Tony) Crispigna, Clare McNamara (Neil Cox), Timothy McNamara, Patrick McNamara, Michael McNamara, Nicolette Klucas, Jake Klucas; Step grandchildren: Amber Nichols, Alexa Nichols, and Ashley Nichols. And 13 Great Grandchildren: Chelsea, Josh, Cara, Miranda, Chloe, Justin, Mataya, Mason, Sam, Tori, Spencer, Ryan, Madilyn.
Visitation and funeral will be on Monday, August 20th. Visitation begins at 12 noon, with Mass of the Christian Burial at 1:00pm at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa. Graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Dinner at 3:00pm at the Nisswa American Legion.
