Evelyn Odegard

Evelyn Odegard, age 94, of Pine River, passed away on May 15, 2018 at her home. She was born to Humphrey and Caroline Littlejohn on May 26, 1923, in Drayton, North Dakota. Evelyn enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and trying new recipes, watching the Minnesota Twins and spending time with family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Dennis Odegard of Pequot Lakes; daughters: Cheryl Israelson of Pine River, Janice Fuhrer (Joe) of Pine River, Joanne Chapman (Mike) of Backus, Gloria Arnold (Bill) of Sedona, AZ, Wendy Flategraff (Joe) of Pine River; siblings: Donald Littlejohn, Alfred Littlejohn, Edwin Littlejohn, Robert Littlejohn, Linda Peters, James Littlejohn; 22 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Obed; daughter, Sandra Bristow; brothers: Ernest Littlejohn, Burton Littlejohn, William Littlejohn, Marvin Littlejohn; sisters: Lillian Rasmussen, Jean Nord, Doris Sullivan; and her favorite dog, Stuey.

Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, May 19, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
