Evelyn Mennenga

Evelyn Francis Mennenga, age 87 of Crosslake, MN passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2001 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Services will be on Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at 1:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake with Reverend Mark Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the chapel. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake. Evelyn Francis Mennenga was born on March 4, 1914 in Minneapolis, MN daughter of Ernest Wm. and Maude (Hunter) Lind. She grew up in Minneapolis and moved to Coon Rapids, MN with her family. In August of 1952 she was united in marriage to Carl Mennenga in Anoka, MN. She worked for Honeywell for many years. After she retired they traveled together moving to Crosslake 10 years ago. She was a member of the Crosslake Lutheran Church.
Evelyn is survived by a sister, Muriel (Leslie) Shoff of Santa Clara, CA and a brother Ralph (Ann) Line of Clearwater, FL. Her husband, parents and a brother preceded her in death.
