Eva Sympson

Eva Marie Sympson, age 92, of Brainerd, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society Bethany in Brainerd. She was born to Cordell and Martha Arnold on October 13, 1917, in Gage, Oklahoma. She grew up in Bungo Township, Cass County, and attended country school there. Eva was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She served in the League of Mercy of the Salvation Army in Blaine, MN, for twelve years.

Eva is survived by her sons: Ron Sympson and Jerry Sympson, both of Backus, Gary Sympson (Suzie) of Prescott Valley, AZ; grandson, Reed; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Creel Arnold, Carl Arnold, Mont Arnold, Raymond Arnold, Roy Arnold, Carson Arnold; sister, Julie Hopke; and grandson, Ronald Sympson, Jr.

Services will be 10 AM on Saturday, October 2, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mildred Cemetery, Backus.
