Eugene Siltman

Eugene "Sonny" P. Siltman, age 55, of Pine River, went to be with the Lord after suffering a massive stroke, on July 5, 2012, at St Joseph's Hospital in St Paul. He was born February 19, 1957, in Pine River, Minnesota to Eugene and Martha (Grossnickle) Siltman. Sonny grew up in the Pine River area and attended Pequot Lakes High School. He had a passion for CARS including racing and demolition derbies. Sonny enjoyed being a mechanic most of his life and doing anything with vehicles. He enjoyed building car models, loved his animals, and had a love for eagles and wolves. He will be truly missed by all!!

Sonny is survived by his wife, Edith; daughter, Donnie (Robert) Anderson; son, Eugene "Geno" Siltman; three grandchildren, Darion, Colton, and Dayton Anderson; siblings, Anna McCorkle, Sid (Stella) Siltman, Herman (Loretta) Siltman; best friend, James Hack; nieces and nephews, Sid Jr., Scott, Craig, Andrew, Trevor, Tyler, Taz, and Treasure Siltman, and many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Rebecca "Beckie" Siltman and parents Eugene and Martha Siltman.

Services will be 2 PM, Monday, July 16 at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, rural Backus. Memorial gifts may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
