Ethel McCormick

Ethel McCormick passed away peacefully on October 04, 2020 at Hills Crossing Senior Living Center in Nisswa at the age of 93.

Ethel was born on August 14th 1927 to Evett and Edith Mathews of Moorhead, Minnesota.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Daniel Mathews, and her loving husband Jerome W. McCormick after 60 years of marriage.

Ethel is survived by her brother Ross Mathews of Moorhead, Minnesota; her sons Shawn and Kevin McCormick, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Ethel graduated from Moorhead High School in 1944. She was a loving mother and very active in the local PTA. She loved bird watching and golfing. She was the only one in the family to ever have a hole-in-one. Her true passion was sewing and was an avid quilter- providing many memories of her with the quilts she completed.
