Esther Morrow

Esther Irene Morrow, born on July 14, 1914 in the Staples area, passed away at St. Cloud Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Esther married Harry Morrow on May 28, 2007. They had one daughter, Beverly Jean Morrow. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Bob & Anna Brinegar; her husband, Harry Morrow; and her daughter Beverly Mohr. Her sisters Edith Dezell of Staples, Minnesota, brothers Harold Nelson and ONeil Nelson and her nephew, Gordon Dezell, also preceded her. She is survived by her sister Mabel Parker of Jamestown, North Dakota; grandson David (& wife, Dorothy) Mohr, of Geneva, Switzerland; her nephews, Gerald (& Ethel) Dezell and Lyle (& Sylvia) Jenkins of North Pole, Alaska and nieces Norma Anderson of Dilworth, Minnesota; Beatrice Hoxter of Staples; Minnesota, Karen (and Fred) Huebner of Staples, Minnesota; Melodie (& Tom) Dukowitz of St. Cloud, Minnesota, LuJean (and Mark) Ruel of Osseo, Minnesota, and many great nieces and nephews living throughout the upper Midwest
Esther worked for many years for a number of local resorts, including Tittles Resort and as a cook at the Motley Public School. She was very active in the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Grandpeople, and genuinely loved to play cards & games with her friends at the Sunny Pines Apartments in Motley, where she resided since 1984.

She touched many, many lives with her kindness, faith, generosity and love. She made a difference and she will be missed.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Motley with visitation starting at 9:30 AM. Visitation will also be held at the church on Friday, December 28 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
