Erwin Debolt

Erwin DeBolt, age 85, of Pine River, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016, at his home. He was born to Leslie and Irene DeBolt on July 31, 1931, in Philbrook, MN. In 1952 Erwin married Irene Peterson in Pine River. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1953. He was part owner of Redco Welding in Anoka and later owned and operated Pine River Welding.

Erwin is survived by his wife, Irene "Punky"; children: Kim Gulickson (Mike), Connie DeBolt, Tony DeBolt; siblings: Marlys Wiggins, Clyde DeBolt (Sis), Beverly Farr (Dale); grandchildren: Todd (Roberta), Guye (Jill), Colleen (David), Jeremiah (Jaqueline), Jamie DeBolt (Mike); 10 great grandchildren; and special family Kenny (Cathy) and Cindy Holden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Erwin; and sister, Beatrice.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 10, at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Following the service a lunch will be held at the Jenkins VFW. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Pine River American Legion. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
