Ernest Richard

Ernest E. Richard, age 79, of Pillager, Minnesota died on Sunday, February 25, 2001 at St. Joseph?s Medical Center. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 1, 2001 at 1:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, Minnesota with Father Robert Landsberger officiating. Family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery.
Ernest E. Richard was born on June 25, 1921 in Houghton, Michigan son of Ernest J. and Elizabeth (Snowden) Richard. Ernest was united in marriage to Roseanna Adams on November 1, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan. They moved to the metro city area. He worked for North Central Public Service as Superintendent and Supervisor over construction of gas pipelines for 35 years until his retirement in 1988. They moved to Pillager in 1992. He enjoyed golf.

Ernest is survived by his wife Roseanna; a son David E. Richard of Spring Lake Park, Minnesota; 2 daughters, Joan Leon of Golden Valley, Minnesota, Debra (Robert) Roepke of Pillager; 4 sisters, Margaret Anders of Iron Mt, Michigan, Mary Dewar of Escanaba, Michigan, Theresa Bennett of Negaunee, Michigan, Lorraine Kroneck of Travers City, Michigan; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
