Spending time outdoors was always something she enjoyed, fishing, hunting, and working in her flower beds. She loved life and laughter and was always able to engage people in conversation. Erlynne and John were able to embark on 18 different cruises through the years. Due to her deteriorating health she entered the Bethany Good Samaritan Village in April of 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mabel. Erlynne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by John, her husband of over 55 years; children, Keith (Barb) Diebold of Grand Rapids, MN, and Kim (Jeff) Holmberg of Annandale, MN; grandchildren, Ryan (Amber) Diebold and Eric Diebold, Holly (Brian) Shea, and Kayla Holmberg; siblings, George Aldous, Gerene (Wally) Mayer, Arlys Johnson, and David (Tori) Aldous.
