Erle Bullen, age 85, of Plymouth, died December 15, 2005. Graveside services December 20 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at 1:45 pm. Reception will follow at Vision of Glory Church in Plymouth.
Erle Rudolph Bullen was born October 4, 1920 in McGrath, graduating from McGrath High School. Following his schooling he enter the United States Army and served during World War 11. He was united in marriage to Hazel Dalton on July 7, 1943 at the Salinas Air Force Base in California. Following his honorable discharge they returned to Lansing. They moved to Isanti for a time and then, in 1957 moved to Plymouth where they lived for 50 years. He worked as a union carpenter for 60 years, was the Vice President of Full Gospel Business Mens Fellowship. He was an avid gardener and loved flowers.
Erle is survived by, a daughter Marilyn Caward, Oregon City, OR; two sons, Lloyd (Mary) Bullen, Maple Grave and Carl (Patti) Bullen, Pequot Lakes; a sister Nina Wright, Holt, MI; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His wife Hazel, a son Dennis, and his parents preceded him in death.
