Elvira Glover

Elvira Ella Glover, 94, of Brainerd, MN died on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home-Birchwood in Brainerd, MN. Services for Elvira will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN with visitation one hour prior to services at the chapel. A reception following the services will be held in the Brenny Reception Center.

Elvira was born on April 20, 1922 in Zell, South Dakota to Harry and Ella (Reinhardt) Mager. She moved to Pine River, MN with her parents at an early age. Elvira enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her six children. She also loved being a foster grandparent. Elvira moved to Brainerd, MN later in her life. She enjoyed music, dancing, art painting, and playing the harmonica.

Elvira is survived by her children, Linda Sundahl of Brainerd, MN, Janice (Tim) Wolhart of Baxter, MN, Ella Krecklan of Brainerd, MN, and Pat Glover of Pine River, MN; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Melvin and Gary; grandson, Dean; five sisters, Elsie, Lillian, Hazel, Mabel, and Myrtle; and two brothers, Benny and Leonard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
