Elmer Schultz, age 85, Pequot Lakes, died Friday 10/20/06 at St Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday 10/23/06 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes with Rev. Frank Milo officiating, burial will be in the Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake. The relatives will receive friends from 2 till 4 PM on Sunday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake and 1 hr prior to services at the church.
Elmer Schultz will be greatly missed by his wife of 62 years Luella, 1 daughter; Lonna Andolshek of Crosslake, 3 sons; Larry (Gail) Schultz of Pequot Lakes, Ronnie (Jan) Schultz of Pequot Lakes, Bruce (Taryn) Schultz of Pequot Lakes, grandchildren; Aaron, Jennifer, Ryan, Kerry, Lisa, Kimberly, Albin, Bruce & Tiffany, great grandchildren; Kate, Leo, Atmos, Lauren, Jared, 1 sister; Berdine Linke of Lincoln, Nebraska and his best friend and fishing buddy Marvin (Olinda) Schulz, Seward, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by 1 sister; Nora Krueger.

Elmer John Schultz was born on September 11, 1921 in Seward County, Nebraska, son of the late; Ferdinand and Minnie (Schulz) Schultz. He was united in marriage to; Luella Klintworth on October 12, 1944 on their family farm. They farmed in Seward County until 1955 when they moved to Pequot Lakes and purchased Tip Top Resort having recently celebrated their 50th anniversary operating the resort. A few years later they started Schultz Construction. Having never lost his love for farming, he purchased a hobby farm and cattle that he enjoyed as a hobby till the time of his death. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Pequot Lakes and Crosslake.
