Elmer Headlee

Elmer "Lynn" Headlee, age 94, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on July 23, 2013, at Essentia St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Lynn was born to Carl and Elva Headlee on November 16, 1918. He served as a Pharmacist's Mate in the Navy during World War II. Lynn married Bernice Szymanski on April 26, 1941. He worked as a rural mail carrier and operated a TV repair business out of his home. He was a member of the American Legion Post #49 in Pequot Lakes.

Lynn is survived by his son, Wayne (Linda); grandsons: Todd (Angela), Mike (Angie), Josh (Korine); great grandson, Daniel; great granddaughters: Taylor, Mackayla, Paige and Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bernice; sisters, Lois and Jane; and brothers, Vern, Dale and Wayne.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, July 27, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with Pastor Frank Milo officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Brainerd.
