Elmer Halvorsen

July 31, 1922 — August 11, 2006

Bud (Elmer C.) Halvorsen of Pequot Lakes, MN passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 at home. He was born July 31, 1922, in Manitowoc, WI to Elmer and Emma Halvorsen. Bud served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He taught Biology and coached wrestling at Edina High School.
Bud is survived by his wife, Hedy (Harriet Hedlund) Halvorsen; children, Marta (Randy) Simpson, Debra (Michael) Mahoney, Signe (Scott) Horsmann, and Erik (Emily) Halvorsen; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
