Elmay Tulenchik

Elmay P. Tulenchik, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Good Samaritan Society - Bethany, in Brainerd.

Elmay was born to Earl and Josephine (Kenyon) Patton on April 27, 1926 in Ketchikan, AK. She married Robert L. Tulenchik. Elmay enjoyed gardening, flowers, and music. She will always be remembered as a generous and loving caregiver. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, and Garden Club. Elmay was active on the school board and a political advocate.

Elmay is survived by her three children, Loretta Novak, of Hudson, WI, LeRoy (Lori) Tulenchik, of Pequot Lakes, and James (Sandy) Tulenchik, of Brainerd; sister, Earlene Mills, of Pine River; 12 grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Bobby, Kristal, Katie, Gayle, Kari, Paul, Andy, Casey, Seth and Colana; and her many beloved great-grandchildren. Elmay was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; sister, Ellen; and brother, Steve.

Service and interment will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM, at Maple Hill Lutheran Church in Pine River.
