Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Mahar was born October 18, 1921 in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She passed away February 27, 2013 at LHS Care Center, Staples, MN. Betty enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, watching Wheel of Fortune, singing Karaoke, and doing word searches.
Survivors include son, Brenton "Sonny" (Vivian) Mahar, CA; daughter, Shirley Simpson, SC; daughter, Claire (Robert) Perry, CA; daughter Robin Karns, RI; son, Ronald Mahar, AZ; daughter, Ann (Robb) Peterson, MN; 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Harold Watson; husband, Brenton; brothers, Harold, Leroy, and Robert; sister, Clara; and great-grandson, James Salter.
