Elizabeth Kostka

Elizabeth Kostka, age 92, of Backus, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born to Pete and Monica Kautzman on September 1, 1921, in Sykeston, ND. She was a proud member of the Backus American Legion Auxiliary and loved playing bingo.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Larry Kostka (Sue), Dean Kostka (Rita), Darryl Kostka (Sue), Marlene Murphy (Mike); sisters: Annie Eidsvoog, Tillie Bjerkest; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earlin; brothers: Pete Kautzman, Innocent Kautzman, Joe Kautzman, Johnny Kautzman; sisters: Margaret Ryder, Marian Compton, and Katie Paulsen.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, June 21, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
