Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth "Bette" M. Johnson, 91, of Brainerd died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Carefree Living in Brainerd, MN. A Gathering of friends for Bette will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 3:00PM at Carefree Living in Brainerd, MN.

Elizabeth was born on December 8, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to Thomas and Elizabeth Monahan. She married the love of her life Stanley Johnson in New York. She moved to Bloomington where she lived most of her life, her husband Stanley worked for Shell Oil Company before they returned to their home on Gull River. Following her husbands death, Bette lived at Excelsior Place before moving to Carefree Living. Bette enjoyed reading. She also loved dogs, especially black labs.

Bette was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth and her husband, Stanley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
