Elizabeth Henseler

Elizabeth "Betty" Henseler, 93, of Baxter, MN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Services for Betty will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Betty was born on April 22, 1923 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Antone and Rose (Zieloski) Derepkowski. Betty met and was united in marriage to Fletcher Henseler on June 22, 1945 in Chicago, IL while serving in the US Navy as a WAVE during WWII. Betty enjoyed her flowers, feeding the birds and squirrels, spending time on White Sand Lake, and her beloved Green Bay Packers. Her greatest accomplishment was her children, and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children, George Henseler of Eagan, Paula (John) Pecarich of Brainerd, Joy (Terry) Avery of Minnetonka, Scott (Susie) Henseler of Helper, Utah, Jody (Rick) Halet of Champlin, Jane (Michael) Bakeman of Plymouth, Jeff (Penny) Henseler of San Diego, California, Amy (Tracy Switajewski) Ryan of Brainerd; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one daughter-in-law; and eight siblings. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
