Elizabeth ?Betty? Ann Colvin, age 69, of Crosslake died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Services will be on Friday, August 30 at 11 AM at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake with Father Dennis Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake. Friends may call on Thursday, August 29 from 6 ? 8 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
Elizabeth ?Betty? Ann Colvin was born on November 24, 1932 in Minneapolis to Worth and Lillian (McGinty) Colvin. She graduated in 1950 from South High School in Minneapolis. She contracted polio in 1951. She worked at Minnesota Federal Savings and Loan?s branch office in Hopkins, MN for 27 years. She moved to Crosslake in 1978 and worked at Northern National Bank for 9 years. Betty was a member of the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and enjoyed reading and painting.
Betty is survived by a sister, Lorraine Richards of Columbus, Georgia; 2 brothers, Jere (Linda) Miller of Crosslake, Lee (Sally) Miller of Bloomington, MN. Her parents, a brother Allan and her step father preceded her in death.
