Eleanore A. Frey, age 88, of Randall, passed away suddenly at her home early Friday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 17, 2008 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Randall and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the St James Catholic Cemetery at Randall.
Eleanore Frey was born on June 28, 1920 on the family farm in Pike Creek Township daughter of the late; Frank and Mary (Olek) Deering. She worked at Black and White Hamburger Shop in Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Albert Frey on September 25, 1945 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls. They lived and farmed in Parker Township their entire married life. She worked at Munsingwear, was a homemaker, and especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was an election judge in Parker Township and active member of St James Catholic Church in Randall where she was in the Christian Mothers and church choir. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, gardening, playing cards, making rosaries and sewing.
Eleanore is survived by her husband, Albert; seven daughters, Lenore (Bob) Pallansch of Grey Eagle, MN, Mary (Russ) Cichy of Madison, WI, Bev (Larry) Kautz of Pine Island, MN, Dorothy (Larry) Lampert of Pierz, MN, Barb (Dave) Brown of Brainerd, MN, Linda (Lynn) (Lee) VanDenBroeke of St Michael, MN, and Sandy (Tim) Statema of Cushing, MN; one son, Albert (MaryAnn) Frey Jr. of Rochester, MN; 19 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three brothers, Clem Deering of Little Falls, Stanley Deering of Villard, and Ed Deering of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Patricia, two sisters Helyn and Sarah; and three brothers; Con, Sylvester and Babe(Alex).
