Elaine Vaughan

Elaine Vaughan, 96, of Blaine, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Cherrywood Advanced Care in Andover. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Crossroads Christian Assembly of God in Crosslake. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Pinewood Cemetery.

Elaine was born March 21, 1921, in Cushing, WI the daughter of Jacob and Matilda (Jensen) Warming. Elaine moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1942 and enlisted in the US Army Air Corp. She married Norman Vaughan in Palm Springs, CA on February 16, 1945. Elaine and Norman made their home in Lexington, MN where she was a homemaker. Elaine enjoyed being active, especially swimming, biking and fishing. She also was a member of the Crosslake Art Club.

She is survived by her sons, Cody Vaughan, of Ham Lake and Larry (Sonya) Vaughan, of Lexington; daughters, Sherry (Steve) Baker, of Cambridge, Patti (Sonney) Lowell, of Buffalo, Vicky (Kevin) Darveaux, of Ham Lake, and Shelly (Kurt) Olson, of Blaine; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson; parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
