Elaine Lueck

Elaine Lueck, age 91, of Nisswa and Mesa, Arizona, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on November 1, 2024. Elaine was born on November 21, 1932, in Cavalier, North Dakota, to Fred and Ethel Forbes. She graduated from NDSU and started her teaching career in Lidgerwood, North Dakota, where she met William (Bill) Lueck. They were married on January 21, 1956, in Watertown, South Dakota. Elaine and Bill moved to the Brainerd area in 1961 where they started their businesses, and she taught Home Economics in Pine River before retiring in 1984.

Elaine is survived by her husband; Bill, daughters; Debbie (Lance) Smith, Becky (Mike) Durham, Lorrie (Scott) Ball, eleven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Betty, son; William (John) Lueck, Jr., grandsons; Cory and Ryan Smith.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
