Eileen L. "Sally" Horazdovsky, 85, of Brainerd, formerly of Crosslake, died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village - Woodland in Brainerd. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake with Pastor Greg Larsen officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather from 2-4 PM on Sunday afternoon at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday morning. Interment will take place at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Roselawn Cemetery in St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Crosslake Lutheran Church.

Sally was born November 23, 1927, in St. Paul, the daughter of Frank and Harriet (Beseth) Strobeck. Following her graduation from Murray High School in St. Paul, Sally worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield until her marriage to Harold Horazdovsky on June 9, 1949. The couple made St. Paul their home and as a homemaker, Sally raised five children. In 1984, they moved to Crosslake. She was an active member of Crosslake Lutheran Church; participating in choir, building committee, music committee, and altar guild. Sally had a passion for art - she painted with a variety of mediums, including oil and watercolor. She also was an active member of the Crosslake Art Club.

She will be missed by her husband, Harold; sons, Steve (Leila), of St. Paul, Mike (Pam), of Redmond, OR, David (Carol), of Sioux Falls, SD, Bruce, of Rochester, and Jim (Ann), of Seattle, WA; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald E. Strobeck; and sister, Joan H. Tempel.
