Edward Gerold

Edward "Micheal" Gerold, 48, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009, at his home, in Ironton, MN. Memorial gathering on Saturday, February 7, from noon to 3:00 PM at Salem Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall at Deerwood, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Micheal was born to Edward and Dorothy (Bruestle) Gerold on June 24, 1960, in Shakopee, MN. He grew up in the Princeton area. He married Lucia "Lucy" Henschel on July 15, 1984. They moved to the Brainerd area in 1990. Micheal and Lucy owned and operated Lucy's Lake Country Kennels. He loved living on the farm. He was a wonderful father and a devoted husband. Micheal had an amazing sense of humor. His beautiful smile will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy; children, Elizabeth, Charles, Rachel, and Eleanor, all at home; Mother, Dorothy Gerold of Priceton, MN, Father and Mother-in-Law, John and Sharon Henschel of Ironton, MN ; Sisters Peggy Merritt of St. Cloud, MN, and Theresa (Jon) Bjerken of Braham, MN ; Brothers, Andy (Sue) Gerold of Braham, MN , Steven Gerold of St. Cloud, MN , Patrick ( Terri) Gerold of Braham, MN, Dennis (Glenda) Gerold of Pine City, MN, and Robert (Jenny) Gerold of Princeton, MN; and many nieces and nephews; uncles, aunts and cousins; and special friends, Cindy Montgomery and Adam McDonough.
