Edna Ehlendfeldt

Edna Janette Ehlenfeldt, age 94, of Pine River and formerly Nisswa, went home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. Edna was born April 6, 1920, to Henry and Martha Alice Anderson. She married Faye Gifford Ehlenfeldt on December 29, 1945, in Minneapolis, MN. Faye and Edna resided in Fridley, MN, until they retired, building their retirement home on Little Lake Hubert in Nisswa, MN. Edna was employed at Target in Fridley from 1966 to 1985 when she retired.

Edna is survived by her sons, Bruce Corwin (Diane) Ehlendfeldt, Bradley John (Linda) Ehlenfeldt; brothers, Adolph and David (Renee) Anderson; sisters, Alma Anderson, Ruth Griffin and Arlene (Kenneth) Walesch; and brother-in-law, Lenard Hein. Edna has 7 grandchildren: Wendy Ehlenfeldt, Kari (Paul) Bicha, Travis (Kari) Ehlenfeldt, Jason (Kelly) Ehlenfeldt, Michael (Alacia) Ehlenfeldt, Mitchell (Ruhiyyih) Dyrdahl and Matthew Dyrdahl. She also has 11 great grandchildren: Jason B. (fiancé, Sarah), Levi, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Nevada, Isabella, Alyssa, Gavin, Makayla, Addison, and Logan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Faye; parents, Henry and Alice Anderson; brother, Arthur Anderson; sisters, Clara Aaker and Selma Hein.

The family would like to thank the Good Samaritan Society for their care of Edna.

Services will be 11 AM on Monday, November 10, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be 11 AM on Tuesday, November 11, at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids.
