Earl Jury

Earl W. Jury, 89, of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society in Pine River. He was born on August 23, 1924, in Belvidere, Illinois. He was a U.S. Army veteran that had served during World War II. Earl was a machinist with the Amerock Corporation in the tool room. He was the past Commander of the V.F.W. in Belvidere, IL and he enjoyed flying.

Earl is survived by his children: Fred (Natalie) Jury of Torrington, CT and Nancy (Bruce) Schuchard of Poplar Grove, Ill.; seven grandchildren: Gregory, Laura, Hugo, Brigid, Oliver, Reagan, Emily; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Ilene and Bonnie; sister, Enid; and brother, Myron.

Services will be 2 PM on Friday, May 23, at Lakeside Baptist Church, Backus, with Pastor Jeff Broom officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Backus.
