Dwight Edward WhiteyScherbing, age 73, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Good Shepard Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids, MN. Funeral Services for Dwight will be 11:00 Thursday, July 10, 2008, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter. Friends may call for one hour prior to Services on Thursday. Interment will be in North Star Cemetery at St. Cloud.
Dwight is survived by his son, Mark Scherbing and fiancé, Sandy Ringler of Sauk Rapids; daughters, Lisa Bowden of Milaca and Lori (Bruce) Ogg of Oak Park, MN; step daughter, Vicky (Carl) Schmalenberg of Brainerd; sister, Shirley (Norm) Rasmussen of Browerville; brother, Duane Scherbing of Foley; 4 grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mabel; first wife, Kathleen Herbrand, second wife, Dolly Paur; and brothers, Gorden and Loren Scherbing.
