Duane Swanson

Duane Raymond Swanson, age 87, of Crosslake, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday December 9, 2021. Services will be held at a later date.

Duane was born on January 12, 1934 in Princeton, MN to Byrtle and Ida (Jones) Swanson. He married Kathy Brann on May 15, 1965 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and together they had six children. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathy, his children Carol, Karen, Mark, Kevin, and Eric, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Duane is preceded in death by his son, Stephen, his sister Jan, and his brother Ralph.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
