Douglas Dukowitz

Douglas O. Dukowitz, age 36, of Staples, MN, died Tuesday morning, July 24, 2001. Services will be held on Thursday, July 26th, at 11:00 AM, in the Brenny Funeral Chapel, in Staples. Relatives will receive friends after 10:00 AM at the Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
Douglas Oneil Dukowitz was born on October 31, 1964, at the Staples Hospital to Richard and Marlene (Hansen) Dukowitz. He grew up in Staples and attended the local schools, graduating with the Staples High School Class of 1983. Doug has worked at Northern Food and Dairy in Bertha, MN since October of 1995.

Doug is survived by his parents, Richard and Marlene, of Staples; an older sister, Glenda (Dukowitz) Tester and husband Alvin of Staples; a brother, Richard Dukowitz and wife Rhonda of Wahkon, MN; a younger sister, Charlene (Dukowitz) Hopp and husband John of Staples; 4 nephews, Jeremy Dukowitz, who lived with Doug, Joshua Dukowitz, Duff Brown, and Derrick Brown; and 3 nieces, Kimberly Reger, Kayleene Reger, and Daina Brown. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a sister, and a nephew.
