Dorothy Zupon

Dorothy Zupon, age 80, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009. She was born February 7, 1929, in Webster, WI, to Walter and Marjorie Stringer. She married Gilbert Zupon on September 13, 1963 in Fargo, ND.

Dorothy was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pine River. She loved to crochet and travel.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; daughters: Carol Thurston (Mike), Linda Tima (Tony), Debbie Martin (Roger), Patty Blake; brothers: Earl Stringer, Walter Stringer; sister, Betty Parrish; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Victor, Myron and Harold; grandson, Brian; and great grandson, Jaiden.

Visitation for Dorothy will be from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, August 28, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Funeral Mass will be 10 AM, Saturday, August 29, at the church, with Father Bruce Engen officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
