Dorothy Osterman

Dorothy Osterman, age 84, of Pine River, and formerly the Zumbrota and Cannon Falls area, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born to Hugh and Elsie Fate in Osage, Iowa, on June 29, 1927.

Dorothy is survived by her son, James Osterman (Wanda) of Berryville, AR; daughter, Marlys Riess (Jim) of Pine River; grandchildren: Eric Riess, Brent Riess (Becky), Todd Riess (Sarah); step-grandchildren: Tim Amundson (Michelle), Wendy Anderson; two great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, parents and brother, Donald Fate.

Services will be 2 PM on Monday, September 19, at Pine River United Methodist Church, with Pastor Elaine Foote-Blum officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be 1pm Tuesday, September 20 in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MN. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
