Dorothy Komro

Dorothy Komro, 93, of Pillager, passed away at Lakewood Care Center on Friday, May 14, 2021. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery near Camp Ripley in Little Falls, MN.

Dorothy was born on June 24, 1927 in Durand, WI, the daughter of Pete and Mina Girard. She married Florian Komro on June 21, 1950, and together they had two children. She will deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Dorothy is survived by her children Timothy Charles (Kimberly) Komro , of Breezy Point and Kimberly (Douglas) Heath, of Merrifield; grandchildren, Robert, Emily, and Derek; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Florian.
