Dorothy Hill

Dorothy M. Hill, age 84, of Backus, passed away Saturday, June 6, at her home. She was born to Herschel and Esther Courtier on November 1, 1930, in Neosho, Missouri.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Linda Turner of Mauston, WI, Mike Wolfe (Jane) of Blue Springs, MO, Maggie Johnson (Solomon) of Minneapolis, Steven Wolfe (Sue) of St. Louis Park, Kaye Van Beek (Ed) of Pine River, Ricky Hill (Tammy) of Gilian, MO, Walt Hill Jr. (Teri) of Pine River, Dorothea "Dee" Hill (Flash) of Backus, Matthew Hill (Julie) of Ironton, Betty Dailey of Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Donna Wolfe of Pine River; 23 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; many extended family from Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Hill Sr.; son, Scott Wolfe; and granddaughter, Heather Wolfe.

Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, June 13 at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to7 PM at Kline Funeral Home. Burial will be noon on Monday, June 15 at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
