Dorothy Fread

Dorothy Fread, 94, of Staples, MN died on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Harmony House in Motley, MN. Services for Dorothy will be held at a later date.

Dorothy was born November 1, 1919 to Wenzel and Elizabeth Heier. She attended Sacred Heart School and Staples High School with the class of 1936, and then went on to Nursing School at Saint Mary's in Bismark, North Dakota. Dorothy was a Nurse at the Staples Hospital from 1954-1961, then the St. Cloud V.A. Hospital from 1961-1973.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Don Fread; five sisters and two brothers. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Donald and Timothy; one daughter, Dodie Nelson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
