Dorothy Clara (Busick, Lamser, Brown) Weiss, 94, resident of Oakwood Good Samaritan House in Brainerd, went to heaven on June 23, 2014. Memorial Service will be held at Noon, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd.

She will forever be remembered by her children, David (Janet) Lamser, of Brainerd, Barbara (Daniel) Martin, of Park Rapids, and Laurel (Mark) Baxter, of Motley and her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, James; siblings, Elmer, Myron, Charles, Florence, Sally, Leota; and husbands, Robert "Brownie", Ernie, and Morrie.

Dorothy was born to Joshua and Clara Busick on December 22, 1919 and grew up in Stephenson, MI. She married Robert Lamser and moved to Minnesota where she lived in the Brainerd area until she retired from teaching in 1983. Then she wintered in Arizona and enjoyed the best of Minnesota in the summers. Dorothy loved music, painting, creating stained glass artwork, and being with her family.

She touched the lives of many people with her smile, good nature, years of teaching school in Brainerd, and teaching stained glass class in Apache Junction, AZ.
