Doris Rehaume

Doris L. Rehaume, 82, of Cushing, was welcomed into God’s arms at her home on Monday, January 29, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, with Father Jimmy Joseph officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM at the church on the day of the service. Inurnment will be at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Little Falls.

Doris was born on February 13, 1935 in Omaha, NE to Roy and Margaret (Church) Peterson. She was married to Marcel Rehaume in Omaha, NE on February 6, 1954. Doris worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Doris enjoyed being a foster grandmother at Randall School. She received the Melvin Jones Award from the Randall Lions. Doris was a member of the Red Hat Club and the local book club.

Doris is survived by her three daughters, Peggy (Kevin) Lindquist, Teresa (Ron) Weber, and Rene (Lynn) Olson; grandchildren, Amy, Matthew, John, Robert, Christopher, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Heidi, Abigail, Nathan, Nathanael, Wesley, and Annabelle; step-brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Mathis; and step-sister, Susan Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Margaret; and her husband, Marcel. She loved spending her time with her family. There is no way to measure how much she will be missed; she was a loving and giving person and was very special to all who knew her. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall.
