Doris Kobliska

Doris H. Kobliska, age 80, of Fosston, formerly of Staples, passed away at the Innovis Hospital in Fargo, ND on Wednesday, September 24. Services are planned for Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Staples with Rev. Steve Sveom officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday evening at the Vernes Lutheran Church, rural McIntosh, MN from 5:30-7:00. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
Doris Henrietta was born July 30, 1928 in Ottertail County, Minnesota to William and Anna (Froslie) Lemke. She grew up in the Underwood area and graduated from school there. Doris worked for the Mary Rondorf Home in Staples, as an aide for 12 years. She met and was married to Joseph Edward Kobliska in 1948. Together they raised 4 children; Joseph, Duane, Raymond and Carol. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Staples, Vernes Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo and dice.

Doris is survived by her children; Joseph (Judy) of Little Falls, Duane (Janet) of Staples, Raymond (Terri) of Staples and Carol (Larry) Sollie of Fosston; 12 Grandchildren 9 great grandchildren; siblings; Earl Lemke of Underwood, Marilyn Thompson of Fergus Falls, Arlene Dornburg, Johnny Lemke Seattle, WA; nephew and niece, Steve and Deanna Kobliska and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1962; her parents; In-Laws, Frank and Mary Kobliska; brothers, Roy and David.
