Donovan Autey

Donovan Autey, age 69, of Pine River, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at home. He was born August 13, 1939 in Minneapolis to Roland and Ethel Autey. Donovan was known for his ability to cut and stack a picture perfect woodpile, and he spent his last days doing the things he loved: gardening and fishing. He especially loved fishing in Canada.

He is survived by his children: Terri Chartrand (Gregg), Debbie Nichols (Jon), Charlene Rawlings (Todd), Jeff Autey, Daniel Autey (Tali), Nathan Autey; brothers: Dick Autey (Penny), Ted Autey (Joy); sister, Diane Carlson; Janet Autey, the mother of his six children; grandchildren: Joshua, Jenna, Jordan, Jessica, David; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, July 22, at Mildred Bible Chapel, Backus, with Pastor Dennis Gellerman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
