Donna Wiggins

Donna May Wiggins, 85, Brainerd, MN, died Friday at Essentia Health – St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.  A Private Service will be held at a later date.  Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd.

Donna May Leonard was born on October 11, 1934 in Brainerd, daughter of Sidney and Ellen (Nordstrom) Leonard.  She was raised and educated in Brainerd.  She was united in marriage with George Wiggins.  Donna worked as a floor girl for a local garment manufacturer and later with the Woodland Laundry. Donna could light up a room with her smile and quick humor. She loved to serve a great meal to her family and friends, cherished their company and was always ready for a game of cards. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include: her daughter: Bonnie (Bob) Gillespie; a sister: Olga Olson; and many nieces & nephews.  Donna was preceded in death by her husband: George; her parents: Sidney & Ellen; three brothers: Clifford, Stanley & Roy; and two sisters: Minnie & Dorothy.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
