Donna Perlinger, 91, of Woodbury, MN, died Thursday, May 6, 2021 at St. Therese in Woodbury, MN. Mass of Christian burial will take place 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22 at St. Mathias Catholic Church, with Father Daniel Weiske officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Donna was born January 28, 1930 in Brainerd MN to Henry and Rose Peters. She graduated from Brainerd High School. Donna was united in marriage with Francis Perlinger on June 28, 1952 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN. She was a loving wife, mother and caregiver, who, with Francis, was blessed with seven children. Donna was truly a servant leader to her family, friends and relatives, and a loving community member who gave freely of her time and energy. She enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, reading, crocheting, sewing, and bicycle riding. She was a wonderful painter and enjoyed spending time in nature. Donna especially loved the Lord, her Catholic faith and was a prayer warrior.
Donna is survived by her children, Mark (Patricia) Perlinger of Sandpoint, ID, Kevin (Julie) Perlinger of Minocqua, WI, Mary Beth (John Kundert) Perlinger of Woodbury, MN, Jon (Kathryn) Perlinger of Edina, MN, Judith (Noel Urban) Perlinger of Chassell, MI, Audrey (Rob) DeBarros of Louisville, CO, Paul (Rachael) Perlinger of Duluth, MN, 18 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rose, as well as her husband, Francis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
